Dear friends,

         March is the month of literacy. Many clubs implemented service projects related to improve the life their communities. I would like to congratulate the clubs in the District that have literacy service projects that they implement every year with yearly improvements.

         March is also devoted to Rotaract that we celebrated in the week around the 13th of March.

        It is in March that clubs should submit their outstanding projects to the District Governor for possible citations

        At the end of March you must submit your documents to the District Governor for the Presidential citation, so that the District Governor could treat them and forward them to Rotary International.

        At this time of the year you must have solved your problems related to Rotary international convention in Bangkok.

        Next month is April, the month of the Rotary magazine and we should set up projects to promote the official magazine or our regional magazines.

        The biggest event in our District now is the forthcoming DAC. It is going to take place in Benin from the 12^th of April to the 14 ^th of April. It is therefore necessary to remind you the following information:

        No club president elect or club secretary elect will be authorized to take up office without attending their training seminar and the District assembly or taking the necessary precautions to comply with the instructions in the Manual of Procedure.

        No club member will be admitted into training, assembly or conference rooms unless their clubs have fully paid their District dues: per capita and DAC contributions.

        Sometimes bank transfer forms are not well filled and club identification is difficult.. You therefore need to take your payment receipts with you and give copies to your assistant governors to back you.

        The DAC organizing committee has been working hard for more than one and a half years to make this event successful.

        The programs of training seminars, the District Assembly and the District conference have been widely announced to the District .They have also been published in this monthly letter for your information.
